Although called Neroli Botanica, this composition is more than just a neroli fragrance. Neroli is traditionally produced
by steam distillation of orange blossom. Thus, Master Anne Flipo recreates orange blossom's “whole”
olfactory spectrum.
The composition starts with green and spicy, which
morphs quickly, but gradually to sweet and honeyed orange blossom. The orange
blossom is slightly dirty and indolic, perfectly complemented with a jasmine
flower. The floral aspects of the composition possess soft spicy nuances of
elemi. A soft vetiver layer, hidden beneath this white symphony, gives the needed
woody touch.
Overall, Neroli Botanica is floral,
sweet, and airy. Spring and summer optimistic whiteness. Like a unisex-leaning restrained
version of APOM Pour Homme. Nothing groundbreaking, but exceptionally polite
and easy to wear.
