Once again the summer is gone, and golden autumn is almost here. For this, in between period Vettiveru is a perfect companion. Still bright, but with darker undertones. A beautiful work from creative Comme des Garcons kitchen. Unfortunately, the perfumer is not officially listed.  Vettiveru hit the market back in 2002. together with Ambar and Citrico. One can say that cologne genre is quite boring and completely historically determined, but Vettiveru broke that stereotype.
This scent opens with strong and bright citrus notes of brisk neroli and bergamot, accompanied by faint pepper. The main note of vetiver is pronounced. This vetiver is dark green, elegant, clean and slightly smoky, but soften by white flowers. The base is soft cedar, most probably Atlas cedar.
Beautiful, wearable, and modern, yet possesses a classic cologne form. Sunny and complicated for cologne genre. Nice fresh, daily scent with great longevity and great price. One cannot wish for more.
