Spanish fashion giant Zara put some more effort in their usually unambitious fragrances. The result is clearly here. Like in clothes business, very soon Zara will conquer the fragrance market with often releases and affordable prices.
There was a big hype about Rich Warm Addictive, and with a good reason, I must concur. In my opinion Rich Warm Addictive is the best Zara fragrance for men to this date. However, I don’t consider it as a masterpiece. Rich Warm Addictive is sweet, cozy, affable, almost edible and very affordable. Unfortunately, the perfume for this fragrance is not publicly known, but this person created a pretty good scent.
Rich Warm Addictive is very sweet from its first second. To my nose, there is an unidentified fruity note in the opening. Honey is very pronounced in Rich Warm Addictive, and in combination with huge tobacco creates a slightly alcoholic apricot mirage, similar to apricot in Slumberhouse Kiste. Like a Southern Comfort liquor accord. The coconut note is also strong, and gives the impression of suntan lotion. Personally, I like this coconut background role. At the base I can detect some light, artificial, but nice sandalwood note and some nuances of vanilla.
Rich Warm Addictive is a very nicely composed autumn/winter fragrance which really reminds me of more expensive niche creations like Parfums de Marly Herod, Hermes Ambre Narguille or even By Kilian’s Back to Black. I don’t wish to state this Zara is a carbon copy of these fragrance, but just shares the similar warm vibe.
Personally I like it a lot, and my girlfriend considers it as a very nice date fragrance during winter nights while wearing a black coat. I was always a sucker for these expensive niche tobacco bombs, and now I found a very similar vibe for a fraction of price. Take Rich Warm Addictive in the consideration for this autumn or winter.
